In Year 11 we develop a student’s skills in the areas crucial for HSC success.
Our individualised programs are designed to fulfil the requirements of Stage 6 of the NESA curriculum.
Students will:
Improve their essay writing. Students will learn how to write analytical and evaluative essays in answer to HSC style exam questions about the texts they are currently studying at their own school.
Improve their comprehension. Students will learn how to understand and analyse previously unseen texts, as is required in Paper One of the English HSC exam.
Improve their creative writing. Students will learn how to compose narratives and imaginative texts that effectively express their understanding of the Area of Study, as is required in Paper One of the English HSC exam.
This course is catered to students in EALD, Standard, Advanced, Ext 1 English.
